There are two shows I really look forward to every week

And they're both new: Elementary & Arrow.

Elementary is soooooooo good. I love, love the relationship they're building with Holmes & Watson. I love, love this interpretation of those characters. Holmes isn't a complete asshole that you love in spite of that and he shows capacity for growth. Watson's fantastic - she's in charge and she takes none of his bullshit while going along with things because he's usually right. I love how he encourages the development of her deductive abilities and that she sometimes sees things he misses. Just...*flailing* *squee*

The new shows are so good!!!!!!

I totally agree! I feel like Elementary is different enough from Sherlock (BBC) that I can love both unreservedly. Lucy Liu and Johnny Lee Miller have great chemistry, and I love the bits of their backstories that we get every week.

And Arrow...LOVE IT.

I really think Elementary is my favorite of the current incarnations of Sherlock Holmes. I like the BBC version and the current movie series, but I love this one.

Arrow!!!!! I'm really, really liking Digg. Digg may be my favorite. I'm really curious how, exactly, Ollie's gonna get out the latest problem.
