This is appalling - Edit: Plan's been scrapped

LA is set to start a "Muslim mapping project" to find out where Muslims live and many other aspects of their lives. Thinly veiled surveillance based solely on their religion and country of origin. Welcome to the 21st century - where we do this instead of those camps like they had for Japanese Americans during WWII we spy on you via technology. Although locking more people up for no good reason may be the next step ('cause it's not like all the people in Gitmo now are there for a good reason, some but not all, not by a long shot). Read this post from irony_rocks to see what you can do to protest the insanity.
