Ugggh. I hate, hate being sick. I went home about an hour early from work yesterday and woke up this morning and called in sick around 7 am. I then proceeded to go back to sleep and sleep until 11. Blah. Then there was lunch/breakfast/food of some variety and I rewatched Supernatural 4.09 and 4.10.
I kinda like Ruby now. I'm officially leaning toward she's totally got a thing for Sam and really does remember being human and doesn't want Lilith to take over the world. She could still be pulling the longest con in history, but I'm really leaning away from that.
I don't think the Sam/Ruby sex was out of character. It was angry, desperate and really indicative of how broken Sam is without Dean.
I do like Anna, but a lot of the dialog, especially her speech about being a fallen angel and the explanation of 'grace,' was really clunky. Now that she's all angeled up I wonder if we'll ever hear from her again.
You know the oddest thing I find about these two episodes? What the sex scenes tell us about Sam and Dean. Now that there's two scenes a piece, I'm finding it interesting that Sam's are always almost angry passionate even outside the whole "angry, desperate sex" part with Ruby and Dean's are always slower and more gentle. Considering that Dean's always portrayed as the womanizer I just find that interesting and I'm wondering what that says about the boy's state of mind since they're both so good at projecting that they're fine/happy/something that they're not.
Oh Dean *hugs* You poor, poor soul. I can't even imagine. As many people have said, one of the worst things you can do to Dean is make him hurt someone else and ten whole years of that? I cannot even imagine. That scene just broke my heart. I cried. Curses on Jensen and Jared for making me cry yet again. Do you have to be so damn good at your jobs?
Yuck, still feel like crap. I think I'm going back to bed now.
